The Carpenters with Emma Fraser

19th October 2024 at 8:00pm

A beautiful celebration of one of the most beloved musical duos of all time.

Join us at The Barn Theatre for an enchanting evening as Emma Fraser and Sonorité Music pay tribute to The Carpenters.

Emma Fraser is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and Musical Director born and raised in Hertfordshire. From a young age she has been passionate about music and performing, making her first stage appearance at the age of five.

Emma studied music at the University of Surrey, achieving a BMus with First Class honours, before going on to attain a Postgraduate Diploma in Musical Theatre Performance from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Since then she has worked as a performer and Musical Director on a number of projects across the West End, UK and Internationally, most recently working as MD and English Lyricist for the UK Premier of Marie Curie: A New Musical at The Charing Cross Theatre.

Accompanied by the musicians of Sonorité Music Emma will bring her unique style and interpretations to the music of The Carpenters, performing hits such as “Close to You,” “Yesterday Once More,” and “Top of the World.”

Sonorité Music offer a range of highly experienced musicians and ensembles for recitals, weddings, events and concerts across the UK. We pride ourselves on our highly varied and engaging recital programmes, rarely consisting of any single style or genre. The team are committed to bringing live classical music to audiences and communities otherwise unable to listen. We have performed and organised recitals in schools, youth centres, churches and other arts venues and are always looking to play in new venues. Our musicians are highly experienced professionals and play frequently with many of the UKs leading orchestras and ensembles, such as London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Shakespeare Company, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia, Orchestra of the Swan, London Children’s Ballet, FeMusa Orchestra and multiple west end shows. www.sonoritemusic.co.uk
