Brian sadly passed away on Saturday 25th July 2026.

He came back home from St Andrews care home for two weeks. It’s was lovely and sunny, we put a bed in his living room, garden doors open, his music on, his dog lying around and family members sitting with him. It was peaceful and quiet. It’s a relief to think he’s back with mum, Denise, which is all he ever really wanted. ♥️

Brian and Denise were long time members of the Barn theatre, and they were collectively involved in nearly 100 production in the 70s and 80s. Brian, and his good friend Len Price, were also responsible for many of the large building projects undertaken by the Trust at that time. They spent many happy hours at the club with the Shaws, Farlies, Lloyds, Woolmingtons, Thompson and many more.

A Life celebration for him will be held at Welwyn Rugby Club on the afternoon of the 28th August.
